Armando Saenz Jr, better known as DJ/Artist Junior Costa has been in the Los Angeles DJ scene since the mid 90′s. Born in Hollywood with a Nicaraguan and Costa Rican background, Costa began spinning on his first pair of technic turntables @ the age of 10 following the footsteps of his father Armando, older brother Jeff, family friend George Mendieta (DJ Araxxis), Brian Matrix and his father Tony. Electronic dance has been Junior’s choice of music since his journey began, learning from artists such as Richard Vission, AJ Mora, DJ Enrie, Bad Boy Bill, Erick Morillo, but has also catered to the top 40s-Hip Hop venues throughout Los Angeles. It was in 2010, when after studying the genre even more and being invited over to the Los Angeles Electro IM Radio studios that Junior decided to fully dedicate his music career to electronic dance music. You can catch Junior Costa live @ many of LA’s top nightclubs, lounges, etc. He holds a residency @ Side Bar in Glendale every Thursday night. With the launch of his first ever produced track this past fall 2010, called “Do it” and his record label “Never Give Up,” you’ll hear him blending some of the best house,progressive, tech, and electronic dance beats.
